just so you don't desert me!

We are all doing great here, getting *some* rest - not much, but some. The dogs are very interested in the newest family member and want to sniff/lick her when she starts to make noise. Overall though, we are seriously impressed with Simon, who as you know is perpetually scared of everything. He has taken not only the baby's arrival in stride, but also the arrival of all the baby stuff. The swing with the spinning parts, the noise makers, the bouncer - all baby apparatus totally not phasing him. I'm really seeing more maturity in him these days - at 2 1/2 he's finally starting to take on a more regal look and doesn't still seem like a puppy - all the time. Don't get me wrong, we're still getting the jolly ball thrown at our feet everytime we step outside (all our family members that came to stay with us over the last three weeks can now confirm that), but he's just less silly and more grown up. I can't wait to get him back to agility.
