We have this issue at the house of the squirrels. The unrelenting, squealing, drive the dogs crazy squirrels. I for one don't really have an issue with the squirrels, however, Lizzie and Simon feel differently. I spend my days yelling at them to quit barking at the squirrels in the tree, the squirrels on the wires, the squirrels on the house, the squirrels on the fence... need I go on. Every time I open the door to let the dogs out, both make a beeline for the fence. Simon jumps so high he practically goes over it, and they run along it just to make sure the squirrels aren't there. I've taken to making them wait before the beeline - talk about torture.
It's probably just one or two squirrels that are driving the dogs batty, but boy are they getting really, really brave. Check out these pictures of one of our furry friends taunting the dogs from the window.

This squirrel is so thirsty he's slowing bopping over to the water dish. Lizzie is about to lose her mind.

And seriously, this guy doesn't know what he's doing. Yeah, right. He stood there fluffing his tail and checking out the acorns while the dogs were clawing to get out.
It was hard to get this pictures because we were giggling so much at this ridiculous scene.
Oh boy do I hate squirrels! They torment me terribly.
